“Echoes of Light and Shadow” was born from a fascination with the invisible forces that shape our perception—how a single ray of light can reveal textures hidden in plain sight, and how darkness itself can become a canvas. Drawing inspiration from cathedral stained-glass windows and the flickering glow of urban neon, this project invites viewers to witness the dialogue between presence and absence, clarity and mystery.

At its core, the installation weaves together translucent fabrics, laser-cut acrylic panels, and hand-painted mirrors. Overhead projectors cast ever-evolving beams through these elements, while custom prisms refract the beams into kaleidoscopic patterns. Sound-responsive LEDs sync with a minimalist ambient score, causing the light to pulse in time with subtle shifts in tone and frequency.

Upon entering the dimly lit gallery, visitors step into a forest of suspended shapes—each form silhouette-cut and suspended at varying heights. As they move, their bodies interrupt beams of light, casting living shadows that swirl across the room. This dynamic interplay encourages exploration: no two visits feel the same, and each movement creates a fleeting portrait of light in motion.
